Where We Are Located

The Children's home, Casa Dayspring, is located in the northern part of the state of Veracruz, in the town of El Higo. El Higo is located on a large river, Rio Moctezuma, which is the state line between the state of Veracruz and the state of San Luis Potosi. The area is in the tropics, but since it is in a river basin their main industry is sugar cane. The sugar production plant, which turns sugar cane into refined sugar is the main industry in El Higo.
